The score is a directional sample of how configured AI assistants answered a controlled set of local-discovery prompts. It is not a search-engine ranking, market-share measurement, or guarantee that another user will receive the same answer.
Uprity builds category-and-location discovery prompts plus comparison and category prompts. When a usable location is unavailable, the sample is reduced to category-level questions. Brand prompts are evaluated separately because the business name is supplied.
A scan sends the same prompt sample to the AI engines enabled for that environment. Engine availability and underlying models can change, so results record a point-in-time sample rather than a permanent ranking.
The 0–100 overall score currently assigns up to 45 points to discovery-prompt mention rate, 25 to estimated answer position, 20 to simple sentiment signals, and 10 to selected citation signals. Per-engine scores are discovery-prompt mention rates.
Use repeated scans with the same business identity, category, location, prompt set, and engine configuration for the most useful trend. Model updates, web access, prompt interpretation, and answer randomness can move a score without a corresponding business change.
